Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 677 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,080 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $16,064 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,435 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can be a mixed signal if you're thinking about future resale. On one hand, a softer purchase price can help you buy in at a better value today. On the other, it also means you should expect resale to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the van has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a practical, space-first minivan and you find a well-priced 2018 in good condition, it makes sense to focus on this year. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a similar van offers a lower entry cost, but the 2018 remains a sensible target when you want a balance of value, comfort, and buyer satisfaction.
