How much does the 2018 Dodge Durango cost?

Is the 2018 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Dodge Durango earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, powerful performance, and family-friendly features, and they also mention the smooth ride and effective electronic interface. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a three-row SUV that can handle family duty while still feeling more muscular than many rivals. With 27.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people find dependable for family use, with praise for its trouble-free day-to-day comfort, smooth ride, and ability to handle long-term ownership needs. That said, the model’s history means you should still pay close attention to maintenance records and inspection results before buying. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is tied to condition and prior care rather than the ownership experience alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 90 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.72% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,636 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $22,027 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,448 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you own one, the current trend can work against short-term resale gains, especially if similar listings remain plentiful. On the other hand, a well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history should still attract interest from shoppers who want a roomy three-row SUV with character.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want a three-row SUV with strong owner approval and a softer price trend than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, it can also make sense to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
