Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.71/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, style, and comfort, and they also like the roomy interior and powerful engine options. For you, that means it fits well if you want a muscle-car experience with everyday usability, especially since it was designed as a five-passenger coupe with a user-friendly infotainment setup. Is the 2018 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on performance and comfort that holds up over time. That said, used examples can vary a lot in condition, so a careful inspection matters because neglected or abused cars can create avoidable long-term ownership risk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Dodge Challenger?

This is still a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when you find a well-priced example.

• Deal availability: 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 89 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 96.73% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $37,708 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $80,976 CAD sits slightly above last year's $41,161 CAD.

That kind of price growth suggests the market has become much more favourable to sellers. If you own one now, strong demand can help support your asking price, especially if your car is well maintained and presents cleanly. The wide spread between the low and high end also shows that condition and specification can make a meaningful difference when you go to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 96.73% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, broad appeal, and current market demand, the 2018 is a solid primary choice. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2018 stands out when you want a Challenger with proven buyer interest and enough inventory to shop selectively.
