Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 181 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,816 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $17,836 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,883 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale values a bit softer in the near term. If you buy now, you may benefit from the lower entry price, but a future sale could face more competition if pricing stays under pressure. On the other hand, a well-kept example with strong demand can still hold its appeal better than average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want a well-liked luxury sedan with solid market value and a decent chance of finding a deal. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of price, condition, and listing quality.
