Should I buy a 2018 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Audi A4 makes sense if you want a well-liked luxury sedan with solid market value and enough inventory to compare options. If you’re price-sensitive, you may want to keep an eye on listings near the lower end of the range and be ready to act when a well-priced car appears. If your priority is the best balance of satisfaction and current pricing, this model year is a sensible place to start.
