Is the 2018 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi A4 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its performance, comfort, and technological features, and many also like its smooth handling and sporty drive. It’s also often described as a great value for luxury, even if some shoppers wish the interior used even more luxurious materials. Is the 2018 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many drivers find dependable in daily use, with praise centred on a smooth, enjoyable driving experience and overall confidence in the vehicle. That kind of consistently positive ownership feedback is encouraging if you want a used luxury sedan you can count on.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about broad dissatisfaction and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been well maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A4?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 168 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.90% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,825 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $18,279 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,736 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the car more attractive to you as a buyer today but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at a strong price now, you may have a better chance of protecting your value later. The fact that demand remains supported by positive owner feedback helps, but resale will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.90% compared with last year.
