The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in everyday use, with praise for its smooth, trouble-free driving character and the confidence it gives over the long term. Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A4?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 171 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.48% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,827 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $18,067 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,896 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more approachable for you now, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if depreciation continues at a similar pace. For a future seller, the current pricing environment points to a model that may hold value best when it has strong condition, clear service history, and desirable equipment. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A4 or consider a different year?
