Should I buy a 2017 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 22.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a strong choice if you want a comfortable, dependable midsize sedan with proven owner satisfaction and a stable price profile. If your priority is stretching your budget, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best condition and price combination, but the 2017 remains the safer all-around pick for most shoppers.
