Used 2017 Subaru Crosstrek for Sale near Quebec

How much does the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 12.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 123 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice if you're comparing condition, mileage, and equipment.

Is the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Yes — the 4.88/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the safety features, smooth handling, and comfortable ride, and many also value the reliability and fuel efficiency for everyday use. That fits the Crosstrek’s practical, all-weather, compact-crossover role well, especially if you want a small vehicle with useful cargo space and a straightforward ownership experience. With 37.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free feel for everyday use, with many drivers saying it is a vehicle they can count on over the long term. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used crossover that should be easy to live with rather than demanding constant attention.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the overall reputation and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Subaru Crosstrek?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 123 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.15% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,349 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $14,701 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,734 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the right number now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The Crosstrek’s practical reputation and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, even if the broader trend remains soft.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 Crosstrek makes the most sense if you want a practical, all-weather compact crossover with strong owner approval and a market that currently favours careful shoppers. If your priority is value, this year deserves a close look; if you want to stretch your budget further, you can also compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced, best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
