Why it stands out
The 2017 RAM 3500 is a standout in the heavy-duty truck segment, primarily due to its impressive towing and payload capabilities, which are bolstered by the powerful Cummins turbo diesel engine. This model has evolved from a basic workhorse to a more luxurious option, especially in the Laramie trim, which offers a comfortable ride and a host of upscale features. Owners appreciate its strong towing capacity, making it ideal for those who need a reliable truck for heavy-duty tasks. However, some users have noted that the engine options could be better suited for the truck's size, and opinions on its exterior design are mixed. Overall, the 2017 RAM 3500 combines functionality with comfort, making it appealing to both work and everyday driving needs.

Love my new truck! It has space for the whole family. Works as hard as a man with two child support payments to two different baby mommas! And rides a lot better than I would have expected it would.
