What is the 2017 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $13,112 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,009 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Rogue is currently in a buyer-friendly phase, which can make future resale gains harder to count on in the short term. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. The model’s broad appeal and practical layout should still help it remain easy to market when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $14,764 CAD, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $13,112 CAD average.
• It adds automated driver assists that make the Rogue feel more advanced.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2017 if you want the lower entry price and are focused on value, space, and everyday practicality. If you can stretch your budget, the 2018 is the better secondary path because its added driver-assist tech gives you a more modern ownership experience.
