How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

Prices have softened 16.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Yes — 4.9/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the feedback points to a comfortable ride, smooth performance, and appealing features. You also get a premium-feeling compact luxury SUV that is practical for everyday use, with a focus on on-road comfort and refinement. For Canadian shoppers who want a polished SUV with a straightforward lineup and all-wheel drive, it fits that brief well. The fact that 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals adds to the appeal.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also highlights that the GLC can feel dependable in daily use, with many owners praising its smooth performance and comfort over the long term. At the same time, the same reviews point to reliability concerns, so you should pay close attention to service history and any signs of mechanical or electrical trouble before you commit. For used buyers, that means ownership risk is manageable only if the specific vehicle has been well maintained and inspected carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 145 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.19% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,280 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $21,291 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,403 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means future resale upside may be more limited unless the market tightens. If you sell later, the current trend suggests you may need to price competitively to stand out. Strong demand for well-kept examples should still help, especially if the vehicle has a clean history and documented maintenance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a sensible choice if you want a well-equipped luxury SUV with a softer used price and you can be selective about condition and maintenance. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may offer a lower entry point, but the 2017 remains the better pick when you want a balance of value, comfort, and market availability.
