Used 2017 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearMississauga, ON

How much does the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 22.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 70 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its space, comfort, and style, and many also like the powerful performance and all-wheel drive for changing weather. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy three-row crossover with family-friendly practicality and easy-to-use technology. With 27.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people find dependable in day-to-day use, especially when it comes to comfort and family hauling. That said, the broader model reputation still calls for careful inspection, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and any signs of wear before committing. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a neglected example rather than a well-kept one.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Traverse?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 70 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.20% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,018 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $13,031 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,750 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of further depreciation. The Traverse’s family-friendly appeal and roomy cabin should help it stay relevant with shoppers who need space over flash.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of value, space, and owner satisfaction, the 2017 is the year to focus on. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby older year may cost less up front, but the 2017 gives you a stronger mix of market support and buyer appeal.
