Used 2017 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearKitchener, ON

How much does the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 22.11% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 67 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice if you want to compare condition, mileage, and equipment.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its space, comfort, and style, and many also like the powerful performance and all-wheel drive for different weather conditions. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy, family-focused crossover with a usable third row and minivan-like cargo flexibility. With 29.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people find dependable in day-to-day use, especially when it comes to space, comfort, and all-weather confidence. That said, the model’s reputation means you should still count on a careful inspection and a thorough service-history review before buying. For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a neglected example, so condition matters more than simply finding the lowest price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 67 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.11% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,400 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $13,411 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,217 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned than someone who pays near the top of the range. The softer pricing also means future resale will likely depend heavily on mileage, maintenance records, and overall presentation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a spacious three-row crossover with strong owner approval and you value current pricing, the 2017 is a sensible place to focus your search. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar space and equipment for less money.
