Used 2017 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale near New Brunswick

How much does the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 22.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 93 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice if you're comparing trims, drivetrains, and equipment levels.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.73/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its reliability, performance, and value, and they also highlight its smooth ride, safety features, and versatility as a work truck. That lines up well with the Colorado’s role as a midsize pickup that can handle everyday driving while still offering real utility and capability. With 37.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.73/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to reliability, and many drivers describe the truck as dependable and trouble-free in regular use. That said, some owners mention the diesel option’s maintenance costs, so long-term ownership risk is lower if you focus on well-maintained examples with clear service records. For used buyers, the safest path is to prioritise condition and maintenance history over chasing the cheapest listing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 93 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,738 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $20,774 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,749 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the truck more attractive to buyers now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition, you may be better positioned to preserve value than someone who pays near the top of the range. The current spread also means resale performance will depend heavily on trim, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a sensible choice if you want a midsize pickup with strong owner approval, a softer price trend, and enough inventory to compare several examples. If you’re price-sensitive, you can also use the nearby model years as leverage while shopping, but the 2017 remains a solid primary target when you find one with good history and a fair asking price.
