Used 2017 BMW X3 for Sale near Niagara Falls, ON

How much does the 2017 BMW X3 cost?

Prices have softened 7.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 152 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 BMW X3 a good car?

Yes — the 4.69/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the luxurious interior, smooth ride, sporty performance, cabin comfort, and practical features. That lines up well if you want a compact luxury SUV that balances everyday usability with BMW’s driving-focused character. With 40.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a solid chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2017 BMW X3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.69/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people find dependable in day-to-day use, especially for its comfort, performance, and practical design. At the same time, the model’s reputation for higher maintenance and repair costs means you should pay close attention to service history and any signs of wear before you commit. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that repair costs can add up faster than they would on a non-luxury SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 BMW X3?

It looks like a buyer’s market right now, with meaningful inventory and a healthy share of listings priced competitively.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 152 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $16,307 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 BMW X3's resale value?

The current average of $16,314 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,644 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can work against you if you're planning to sell soon. On the other hand, it may help you buy at a more favourable point if you're shopping now. For future resale, the model's premium image and broad appeal should still support demand, especially if you choose a well-maintained example with a clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.69/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 BMW X3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.69/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 BMW X3 makes the most sense if you want a well-liked compact luxury SUV with strong owner approval and a softer price than it had a year ago. If you are focused on value, this is a good year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years and prioritise the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
