Is the 2017 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Audi Q7 earns a 4.78/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxurious interior, performance, and advanced technology, and many also like the smooth ride and confident handling in different drive modes. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a refined three-row luxury SUV with useful space and a premium feel. With 25.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its smooth ride, performance, and capability. That said, some owners mention fuel consumption and a few feature-related frustrations, so used buyers should pay close attention to maintenance history and how the technology works during a test drive. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about outright satisfaction and more about making sure the specific example you choose has been well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 133 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,521 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $19,528 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,765 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q7 more attractive to buyers now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less room for depreciation pressure than someone who bought when prices were higher. Strong demand for well-kept examples should still help support values, especially for trims and configurations that feel well equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2017 if you want a well-regarded, three-row luxury SUV with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still be worth comparing, but the 2017 is the better starting point when you want a balance of value, satisfaction, and available inventory.
