Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi A4?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

What is the 2017 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $14,665 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,613 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible on the used market, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract interest if they price competitively. A softer market can also mean you may need to be more deliberate about timing and condition when you eventually sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-liked used luxury sedan with strong owner feedback and a softer price than last year, the 2017 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, compare nearby years as well, but the 2017 stands out as a balanced choice for value and buyer confidence.
