Is the 2016 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Toyota Sienna earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

You get a practical family minivan with three rows of seating, a huge cargo area when the rear rows are removed, and a low load floor that makes everyday loading easier. Owners also consistently point to comfort, spaciousness, and the variety of features as major strengths, while the overview highlights its usefulness for passengers, cargo, and family duties.

Is the 2016 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to comfort, spaciousness, and value as recurring positives, and the broader model overview describes it as a vehicle with a strong reputation for reliability and durability. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the overall reputation and more about age-related wear on individual examples, so condition and maintenance history matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 99 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.96% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,317 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $20,317 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,383 CAD.

That kind of price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the vehicle more attractive to buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your position when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a strong choice if you want a well-liked, practical minivan with a favourable price trend and decent deal availability. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may also want to compare nearby years for a lower entry price, but the 2016 stands out as a sensible pick when you want a balance of value and owner satisfaction.
