Yes — the 2016 Toyota Camry earns a 4.57/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. That lines up well with its role as a sensible midsize sedan for buyers who want comfort and everyday ease of use rather than something flashy. Is the 2016 Toyota Camry reliable?

The owner feedback highlights reliability, dependability, and a car that feels easy to count on over time. That kind of response suggests the Camry’s reputation for trouble-free ownership is backed up by real-world experience from people who live with it every day. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the car’s core durability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when the right listing appears.

What is the 2016 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $17,115 CAD sits slightly above last year's $17,029 CAD.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed fairly stable, which is a positive sign if you're thinking about future resale. A steady price pattern usually means the model is holding its appeal without sharp swings that can hurt timing for sellers. For you, that points to a used Camry that should remain relatively easy to price and move when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Camry is a strong choice if you want a comfortable, practical sedan with solid owner approval and a stable price profile. If your priority is value, this year makes sense as a primary target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar equipment and condition.
