How much does the 2016 Porsche Macan cost?

Prices have softened 26.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 117 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2016 Porsche Macan, and it fits the model’s sporty compact-SUV brief well. The overview points to a smaller, nimbler alternative to the Cayenne with all-wheel drive, a seven-speed PDK automatic transmission, a premium cabin, and a strong reliability record. It also suits you if you want a fast, fun crossover with Porsche character, though it is not the most practical choice in its class and rear-seat space is below average. 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Porsche Macan reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes a strong reliability record, along with a high-quality interior and well-equipped standard features for the model year. For used buyers, that points to a lower-risk ownership experience than you might expect from a performance-focused luxury SUV, provided you choose a well-maintained example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Porsche Macan?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 117 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.04% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,857 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $20,931 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,302 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Macan more attractive to buyers today but may limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. On the other hand, a premium badge, sporty character, and strong demand from shoppers who want a compact performance SUV can help support values better than a more ordinary crossover. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should remain easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, equipment, and the Macan’s core driving appeal, the 2016 is a strong place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the cleanest history and the best asking price.
