Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Versa Note?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right price.

If you find a listing below $7,437 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Versa Note's resale value?

The current average of $7,494 CAD sits slightly below last year's $8,924 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal if you're planning to sell later, because today's lower entry cost may limit how much room there is for appreciation. On the other hand, a more affordable used price can help keep the car attractive to budget-focused shoppers when you eventually list it. If demand stays steady, that can support a more predictable resale outcome.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Versa Note or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price and owner satisfaction, the 2016 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2016's stronger market signals.
