Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Versa Note?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.

What is the 2016 Nissan Versa Note's resale value?

The current average of $7,717 CAD sits slightly below last year's $9,975 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future depreciation feel less abrupt if you buy at the right price. If you plan to sell later, entering at a lower purchase price can help protect your overall value position. Strong deal activity also shows there is still buyer interest in this model year.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Versa Note or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and owner approval, the 2016 is the year to focus on. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2016’s current market softness and deal availability.
