How much does the 2016 Nissan Rogue cost?

There are 411 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its value, comfort, spacious interior, cargo room, smooth ride, and good fuel efficiency. That fits well if you want a practical compact crossover for everyday family use rather than something focused on rugged capability. With 25.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many people find dependable and easy to live with over time, especially when it comes to comfort and everyday usability. The positive comments about value and trouble-free day-to-day use are encouraging for shoppers who want a sensible family vehicle. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well and that its electronics and drivetrain behaviour feel consistent during a test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 411 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.15% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,714 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $10,784 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,861 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Rogue easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer trend means you should expect pricing pressure unless your vehicle is especially clean, well maintained, and competitively equipped. Strong demand for practical family crossovers can still help, but the current market is clearly more favourable to buyers than sellers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Rogue makes the most sense if you want a practical, comfortable, and value-focused compact crossover and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby model years as well, but the 2016 is a solid primary target when you want a roomy family vehicle with strong owner approval.
