Used 2016 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2016 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 17.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 414 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its value, comfort, spacious interior, cargo room, smooth ride, and good fuel efficiency. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical compact crossover for everyday family use rather than something aimed at off-road driving. With 23.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on comfort, value, and everyday usability. That said, the CVT is a known concern in this generation, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and how the transmission behaves on a test drive. For long-term ownership, the main risk is not the cabin or practicality, but the possibility of transmission-related repair costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 414 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.09% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,620 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $10,620 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,810 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Rogue easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to own it for a while, the current pricing gives you a lower entry point, but resale gains are unlikely to be dramatic unless you buy especially well. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Rogue is a strong choice if you want a roomy, comfortable, family-friendly compact crossover and you value current pricing that has already softened. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge, especially if you can find one with a clean service record and a transmission that feels smooth in use.
