Yes — the 2016 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its value, comfort, and stylish design, and many also highlight the spacious interior and cargo room, along with the smooth ride and good fuel efficiency. The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable for everyday use, especially because of its comfort, value, and trouble-free feel in regular family driving. Even so, you should still budget for a careful inspection, since any used crossover can carry age-related wear and model-specific risks over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 385 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,575 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $10,575 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,650 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Rogue has become more affordable for buyers, which can make it a tougher vehicle for future sellers to command a premium unless the example is especially clean and well equipped. For you, that means resale value is likely to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. If you buy at the right price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Rogue makes sense if you want a value-focused compact crossover with strong owner approval and a lower average price than many alternatives. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a similar Rogue offers a better mix of condition, equipment, and asking price.
