What is the 2016 Kia Sedona's resale value?

The current average of $11,092 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,101 CAD.

That decline suggests the Sedona has become more affordable on the used market, which can help you buy at a lower entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale expectations should stay realistic unless the vehicle is especially well kept. Strong condition, clean history, and desirable equipment will matter more when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Kia Sedona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 26.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price and owner approval, the 2016 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the lower end of the range and compare them carefully with nearby model years before you decide.
