Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 INFINITI QX60?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,623 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $12,623 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,039 CAD.

That kind of price movement suggests you may face some depreciation pressure if you buy now and sell again in the near term. If the market stays soft, future resale values could remain under pressure unless demand strengthens. A well-kept example with strong service history should still be easier to move than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 20.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value and owner satisfaction, the 2016 is the primary year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with a lower average price may be worth a closer look, but you may give up some of the current market softness that makes the 2016 appealing.
