The 2016 is an excellent car. I drove one in 2016, when I was in the market for a sedan. I wound up buying a MBZ E350. I just was not sure of the Hyundai depth of knowledge and although the systems looked good, I was not confident. I was wrong and I would like to buy a low mileage one now. Given that the 2016 is the last of the Hyundai branded line, it is basically the the first Genesis in 2017.
