Used 2016 Dodge Durango for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2016 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 10.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 33 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2016 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2016 Dodge Durango’s overview backs that up with a mix of family-friendly practicality and a distinctly muscular character. You get standard seating for seven, available second-row captain’s chairs, and a crossover layout that makes it more comfortable and easier to drive than its truck-based predecessors. It also offers a broad spread of trims and powertrains, so you can shop for everyday utility or stronger performance depending on your needs.

With 12.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some market opportunity if you’re selective.

Is the 2016 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also notes that the earliest model years of this generation were affected by numerous recalls involving brake failure, problematic fuel pumps, and electrical and wiring problems, so inspection matters. For used buyers, that means reliability can hinge on maintenance history and how carefully a specific example has been cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 12.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 33 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,738 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $16,217 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,074 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can make it harder for a future seller to command top dollar right away. At the same time, the current pricing range still leaves room for well-kept examples to hold appeal if they’re presented well and priced realistically. For you, that means resale value is likely to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 12.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Durango with strong owner satisfaction, a broad trim and powertrain spread, and a market that has eased from last year, the 2016 is a sensible place to start. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced, best-maintained example rather than the badge year alone.
