Is the 2015 Toyota 4Runner a good car?

Generally — the 2015 Toyota 4Runner earns a 4.43/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, comfortable seating, and off-road capability, and they also like practical touches such as the rear window that opens like a regular window. Is the 2015 Toyota 4Runner reliable?

The user feedback also highlights strong reliability, with owners describing it as dependable and trouble-free over time. For used buyers, the main risk is less about durability and more about accepting the trade-offs that come with an older, truck-based design.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota 4Runner?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings before moving quickly.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 66 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.81% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,010 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota 4Runner's resale value?

The current average of $27,547 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,343 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests buyers have a bit more leverage today than they did a year ago. For a future seller, that means resale value is still supported, but you should expect pricing to reflect the market's recent cooling rather than a strong upward trend. The 4Runner's reputation for durability and owner satisfaction should help it hold interest, even if the current market is not especially hot.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota 4Runner or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the classic 4Runner formula, the 2015 is a strong choice because it combines owner satisfaction, a softer price trend, and enough inventory to shop selectively. If your priority is stretching your budget, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best condition and price combination, since the market is offering some room to negotiate.
