Is the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Generally — the 4.29/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. Owners most often praise the spacious interior, safety features, and smooth ride, and many also like the useful technology such as the 360 camera and navigation system. That lines up well with the Pathfinder’s role as a practical three-row SUV for families who want room for seven and everyday usability. With 27.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop carefully.

The owner feedback also highlights a reliable motor and a trouble-free feel for many drivers, with praise for how well it handles varied driving conditions. Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 138 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,785 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $10,533 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,418 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Pathfinder easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition so you are not starting from an inflated purchase price. Demand should remain supported by the model’s family-friendly layout and broad appeal.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.29/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.29/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 Pathfinder makes sense if you want a roomy, comfortable three-row SUV and you can take advantage of the softer pricing in today’s market. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone.
