Is the 2015 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 4.68/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfort, reliability, and smooth ride, and many also highlight the luxurious interior and solid performance. That lines up well with the RX’s role as a luxury SUV that prioritises comfort, refinement, and long-term dependability over flash. With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Lexus RX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.68/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback repeatedly points to reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free ownership experience, which is exactly the kind of reputation you want in a used luxury SUV. The RX is also described as a model that delivers predictable ownership costs and strong long-term value. For used buyers, that usually means lower risk of surprise repair headaches if the vehicle has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 61 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.96% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,023 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $21,777 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,914 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can be helpful if you are buying now but means future sellers may need to price more competitively. Even so, the RX’s reputation for comfort, reliability, and value should help it remain appealing to used shoppers. If demand stays steady, that kind of reputation can support a healthier resale position than you might expect from a luxury SUV in this price range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.68/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.68/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 RX is a strong choice if you want a comfortable, refined luxury SUV with a solid ownership reputation and some pricing softness in the market. If you are focused on value, this year deserves a close look; if you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years and target the lowest-priced listings first.
