For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that infotainment-related complaints can affect perceived reliability, so it’s worth checking that systems work properly before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda Accord?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base LX already includes heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, text-messaging support, a rear-view camera, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Sport adds a small bump in power, paddle shifters, a firmer suspension, and unique 18-inch aluminium wheels, while the EX-L and Touring move you toward a more luxurious setup.
• Powertrain: You can get a four-cylinder or a V6 gasoline engine, and the four-cylinder is described as smooth, refined, and sprightly. The CVT helps deliver power smoothly, while the V6 is reserved for higher trims.
• Safety package: Honda’s LaneWatch blind-spot monitoring, automatic collision notification, lane-departure warning, and forward-collision warning are only offered on higher trims. Every Accord does include a rear-view camera.
• Infotainment: The Sport trim has Bluetooth, a hands-free text-messaging assistant, a USB port, and an auxiliary input jack, but navigation, satellite radio, HondaLink services, and adaptive cruise control require a higher trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert test drive notes around 9.0 L/100 km in city driving and 6.7 L/100 km on the highway for the test vehicle, with an observed 8.8 L/100 km in city-heavy driving.

Which 2015 Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2015 Honda Accord is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, Sport, EX-L and Touring.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the value play if you want the Accord’s core strengths without paying for extras you may not use. You still get heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, a rear-view camera, and alloy wheels.
• Sport: This is the best-value trim if you want the most engaging drive. It adds a small power bump, paddle shifters, a firmer suspension, and unique wheels, but it keeps technology upgrades limited.
• EX-L: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to move up for more luxury-oriented equipment. It can also be upgraded with the V6 engine and includes heated rear seats.
• Touring: This is the top-end choice if you want the V6 and the most premium Accord experience in this lineup.

Honda’s safety and driver-assistance features are packaged on higher trims, so you may need to step up if those matter to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 87 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.76% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,380 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $13,463 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,595 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Accord is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can make it easier to purchase now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the model’s strong reputation for reliability and broad appeal should help it remain attractive to future shoppers. Its combination of fuel efficiency, practicality, and family-friendly usability supports steady demand over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Honda Accord safe?

The 2015 Honda Accord earns a five-star overall crash-test rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda’s standard rear-view camera is included on every Accord, while LaneWatch blind-spot monitoring, automatic collision notification, lane-departure warning, and forward-collision warning are reserved for higher trims. That means safety equipment is solid, but not evenly distributed across the lineup.

Should I buy a 2015 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It delivers broad capability, dependable service, and strong value in a well-rounded midsize sedan package.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $15,259 CAD, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $13,463 CAD average.
• Honda adds improvements that make the sedan better in several ways.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2015 is the smarter buy. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model with improvements, the 2016 is the secondary path for shoppers who prioritise updates over price.
