The current average of $34,985 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,721 CAD.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 makes sense if you want a used heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval and a market that has become more favourable on price. If you are price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years and focusing on listings that land near the lower end of the current range.
