How much does the 2015 Ford Explorer cost?

There are 144 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Ford Explorer a good car?

Generally — the 2015 Ford Explorer earns a 4.41/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction for a used midsize SUV. Drivers commonly praise its comfort, spaciousness, and performance, and many also like its stylish look and technology. That lines up well with its family-focused, roomy, and versatile setup, especially if you want a practical SUV with available all-wheel drive and flexible seating. With 17.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Ford Explorer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.41/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many people find dependable in day-to-day use, with positive remarks about its driveability and features. At the same time, the broader ownership picture suggests you should pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term used-SUV ownership risk can rise if previous care was inconsistent.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Ford Explorer?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 17.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 144 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.33% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,227 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Ford Explorer's resale value?

The current average of $12,645 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,102 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Explorer easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means you should expect a more competitive resale environment unless your vehicle is especially well kept and attractively equipped. Strong condition, clear service records, and desirable features will matter more when it comes time to list it again.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.41/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Ford Explorer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 17.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.41/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, family-friendly Explorer with a strong owner satisfaction signal and a softer price trend, the 2015 is a sensible primary target. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar example offers a better deal, but the 2015 already looks like a practical buy if the condition and history check out.
