Used 2015 Chevrolet Equinox 2LT FWD for Sale near Maricourt, QC

(1 reviews)Drives smooth for the most part. It seems to run through oil quicker than it should and that has gotten pretty costly at approx $80 every oil change. I have to get my oil done about every 2-2.5 months. About a year after I bought it (Jan 2021) the dash light came on about my tire sensors. When I took it to the shop they said it is a common problem with these cars. He can fix it, but once the first one comes off the rest usually fall off too over the next 6-9 months. The part was approx $25, but after labor and all it would be around $130 each time... I opted not to have him replace it, but he was supposed to get the light on my dash to go away. It did for a few days, but then came back on and has stayed ever since. I have also noticed something peculiar about the car after it rains. The interior doesnt get wet, but when i open the door a small pudle hits the ground and im not sure where it comes from. Another issue with functionality is the bluetooth/device connection. The radio plays fine, but when I connect a phone the first minute or so sounds like a skipping disc, but eventually it plays normal. Another problem with the interior is the lack of A/C vents in the back. The a/c itself works great, but the a/c vents are all located in the front dash so my kids complain about being hot and Im freezing cold. Interior is roomy - In the back seat, I have 2 booster seats (with backs) on each side and a standard carseat in the middle. Trunk is big enough for all our day to day toys/medical supplies etc and still have room for groceries or whatever. Lastly, the paint peels horribly and GM refuses to do anything about it. There is now a class action lawsuit about peeling paint for 2015-2019 model vehicles, however, it includes multiple model vehicles but the Equinox is not one of them... I wouldnt openly recommend the Equinox to anybody still deciding what type of car to purchase, nor would I necessarily try to talk someone out of buying it. Unfortunately the Equinox has its problems like all other models of vehicles. I guess what it comes down to is deciding what aspects of a vehicle are the most important for a potential buyer. For example, rear a/c vents will be a priority when i buy my next vehicle, although a single elderly person may not care about that at all. Any potential car buyer must do enough research prior to selecting their final choice to make sure they are happy with their selection in the long run. A vehicle is a long term, usually expensive, investment for most buyers so researching specs should be a priority.
