The current average of $7,610 CAD sits slightly above last year's $7,570 CAD.

That small increase suggests the market has been fairly stable, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price trend can make it easier to estimate your car’s value over time, especially if you keep mileage and condition in check. Because demand appears consistent rather than volatile, a clean example should remain reasonably easy to price competitively.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Versa Note or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 13.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a budget-friendly used hatchback with steady pricing and decent owner satisfaction, the 2014 is a sensible place to start. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and compare condition carefully, since the best value will depend on mileage, maintenance, and overall wear.
