Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Altima?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 74 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.70% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $8,187 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Altima's resale value?

The current average of $8,187 CAD sits slightly below last year's $10,070 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Altima has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it also means resale may remain more modest than some rivals, so condition, mileage, and maintenance history will matter a lot when it comes time to trade or sell. If you keep the car well maintained, you can help protect value, but you should still expect a used-market price that reflects its softer trend.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Altima or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 24.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.70% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2014 is a sensible pick if you want a comfortable, efficient Altima at a lower entry price, especially if you can find one with strong maintenance records. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year with similar equipment and a better deal may be worth cross-shopping, but the 2014 remains a solid starting point for value-focused buyers.
