Used 2014 Hyundai Elantra for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2014 Hyundai Elantra cost?

Prices have softened 13.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 158 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Hyundai Elantra earns a 4.83/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its dependability, comfort, fuel efficiency, and value for money, and many also like the smooth ride and user-friendly technology. For you, that makes it a sensible choice if you want an affordable compact car that feels more complete than its price suggests. With 17.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights dependability and a trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, along with comfort and fuel efficiency that support everyday use. That said, the broader reliability picture is mixed, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and any signs of wear before buying. For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a car that has unresolved electrical, HVAC, suspension, engine, brake, or build-quality issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Hyundai Elantra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 17.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 158 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $6,677 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra's resale value?

The current average of $6,942 CAD sits slightly below last year's $7,994 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and service records. A well-kept example should still appeal to budget-minded shoppers, especially because the model has a strong reputation for value and efficiency.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Hyundai Elantra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 17.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-equipped, value-focused compact car and you find a clean 2014 at a strong price, this year is worth serious consideration. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a better-equipped or similarly priced alternative gives you more confidence on condition and ownership history.
