The motor in the truck was full of / coated in sludge. The dealer knew or should have known the condition of the truck at the time of sale. The dealer only replaced the motor after threats of legal action and failed to reimburse me for an initial attempt to have the problem addressed. As a result I would not recommend anyone consider doing business with this dealer and I’m disappointed that Car Guru’s would recommend this vehicle or this dealer.

The back seat folds down to create a 10 long by 50 wide when needed and still have 4 full sized doors. Overall design is far better that any pick-up configuration.

Features are plentiful and drivetrain is top notch. Love the avalanche overall. I’ve had one since 2005. Still have my ‘05 with 220k miles. Looking for something a little newer. The Chevrolet air-ride suspension is horrible, in my opinion, unless you plan on hauling heavy loads. It’s a harsh ride. Luckily, Arnott sells suspension conversion kits that replace the air-ride with a conventional suspension to get the ride I’m looking for.
