Overall the Edge performs well. I bought it used and after 3 months had 2 issues. 1) Driver door - while securely closed - will not always register as closed. As such you need to open and close more until resolved... or leave with the light on the dash and that it will not allow you to lock the doors. I have been advised it is a known issue and is $400 for the replacement door lock/sensor. I will instead be watching for it at a junk yard. 2) It was stall-like where the accelerator dropped out but engine was still at a slow idle. Happened once and then a week later happened It was the Throttle sensor at $600. But after being replaced is running normal.
