I suspect the car has clutch issues. Chatters when backing up and you really have to "slip it" to get it moving. Might be from sitting but it was hard to tell since they only let it be driven a couple miles.

Amazing vehicle. Craftsmanship and engineering are unmatched among American Muscle cars when considering the Gt500 Shelby Cobra. 500 hp and 6-speed manual transmission make the owner experience one in a lifetime. Shelby and Ford go to great lengths to keep this owner experience at the highest level. Buy one and keep for life!

I purchased my 08 Shelby Torch Red Mustang in 2022. It had 16,000 miles on it at the time of purchase and it had modifications that made it a king of the road. If you want a car that easily spins the tires at just touching the throttle, then this is the car for you. It is easily the most powerful mustang I have owned, and I have owned 6 in the past. It produces 550 rear wheel HP and its a beast. Mine has Flowmaster Chrome Tip mufflers installed on it and they sound great. It also has a cold air intake with a Ford Racing Tune. There is nothing to complain about with its performance other than for some reason these mustangs have wheel hop from the wheels trying their best not to spin but with this much power they have to, and it causes the rearend to get cocked a bit and then the wheels start hopping. If you know how to drive one of these and you aint trying to spin the tires it is not a problem. It can be driven everyday if I wanted to, but I dont. It has ac, power windows, locks, power seats, navigation system and a great stereo sound system. There is nothing to complain about with this car. The ride is a little rough but that is to be expected with all the high-end performance suspension parts and it has a 6-speed trans. I love driving mine anytime I can.
