Used 2007 Ford Taurus for Sale near Maple Ridge, BC

My daughter’s first car. Looks brand new inside and out. Low mileage. Runs great. Great find!

It is a great, smooth ride. I got it used from my dad, but it was a fleet car for a company first. It is very big and for its size it has pretty good MPGs not the greatest but still a great car. It looks sharp and the seats and carpet are nice and last a long time. The only beef with this car I have is the the radio is very bad. But overall it is a great car! For sure buy.

This car is a sound basic sedan with a lot of room. Very economical on the pocketbook. The room in the back seats are astounding even with the front seats all the way back. The performance is OK, Road handling is OK. Repairs are not too bad.

I bought the car and it turned out to have a bad catalytic converter while driving it home! I think the dealer knew all about it before the sale and somehow disabled the check engine light temporarily. He advised me to add a fuel cleaner which did not work. Now I have a car that will not pass emissions tests. Not happy!

I had a mechanic thoroughly inspect and test drive the car before making an offer. I am so glad I did. Here is his report. Tachometer dial shakes when the car is shut off Noise It does appear that the inside of the engine is overrun with rust **Mount the battery - $40 -$100 Possible front end damage has been repaired Rear end damage has been repaired & cracking paint on the rear bumper indicates inexpensive repainting -What can happen’s pieces can crack and flake off sometimes large pieces Hood release feels flimsy, like it might snap. Put some lube on it and be gentle with it and perhaps it will be fine for a while **Missing to her adjusters on the front, I took pictures, & the hood is also a little loose. ** SAFETY ALERT - the hood will vibrate at high speeds, even without the hood adjusters which control the vibration of the hood at high speeds, in a lot of cases, there are some vehicles that I’ve had front end accidents with a hood is looser than this. That does not mean this is not a problem. The used car check of California will advise you this way, batten down the hood. You can use a chain so that the hood cannot open while you’re driving, and create a very dangerous situation. We can talk further about this later Noise from the engine area: -There was one noise that occurred when I first started it that was really ugly but it went away and would not come back -that will need further attention -there is but I would consider an intermittent valve noise - as this progresses and gets worse he could get to a point where you will have to replace the valves of the engine - $3000 - can be more, can be less -it’s possible there may be an exhaust leak near the engine fixing that could be anywhere from $150 -$1700 -this is the worst noise I’m hearing, around the back of the engineer the flywheel there is some noise, and that is one of the worst places. As that noise progresses which may be very quickly, we all know it’s not going to heal itself, you may have to disassemble the engine to straighten it out. And once the engine is disassembled it’s got to be put back together properly - engine rebuild $7500
