Used Ford Taurus for SaleNationwide

The Ford Taurus had some years where Ford ignored it and quality and reliability were an issue. For 2004, this was not a problem as Ford started paying attention again. The SES has all the standard features for mid value sedans of that year. The 3.0 L engine is a little weak for a car this size but it is adequate. Just don't expect it to put you back in your seat if you hit the gas to get on the freeway. Ford doesn't seem to think people want or need second gear. I've noted several models over the years that did not have a second gear on the automatic gear selectors. I find a second gear in heavy traffic keeps the car from shifting constantly.

Quick car, fully loaded. Only repair neded was one that was caused by the previous owner being an idiot. 25 avg mpg, 205hp(stock). aluminum dohc 24v duratec ax4n non sychronous transmission. Sunroof, traction control, leather, spoiler, premium wheels, 6cd. Bought for $7200 after taxes and title. Fun car to mess around with.

Good american car without the ridiculous price tag. 10 grand for 30,000 miles beautiful condition, not a scratch, interior perfect. MPG not great 18.9 on average. Does have a little quicks and has a cool metalic green color. My second taurus, never have had a problem. I think people get sucked in to thinking more money and foreign is so much better. WHY? I paid cash, no car payment and have great car.

Great first car, handles very well.

I've had some fun in my taurus its one the taurus models that has 201bhp witch is ok for the type of car it is it has some pickup witch is good though it goes 0-60 in about 7 seconds not exactly a racer. It has some pretty good handling but tends to oversteer a bit but its not too difficult to contol
