Used Toyota 4Runner for Sale near Ontario

Runs really well no noticeable issues with shifting, acceleration and down shifting, 4L, 4x4 shift well, down side there is a ton of rust underneath and a couple different spots on the frame it’s flaking bad (fresh paint over the flaking), worth what it’s priced not really, 275k with heavy rust would definitely be more around 7.5k. But hey everyone’s gotta make a profit…

Good acceleration, very roomy, good handling and comfortable for long trips. Fuel economy is the weak point for this SUV. Excellent reliability, low maintenance cost, repairs and spare parts are very affordable. A great buy for. 2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5.

Excellent vehicle for getting around in the snow with BFG AT's. A little underpowered for my taste. Has been very reliable and cheap to maintain. Styling has held up well, interior is solid and clean, but has developed some squeaks and rattles. Upgraded suspension with Bilsteins and blocks in the rear to level the ride, which helped restore handling. Gets good gas mileage, brakes are acceptable for an SUV but certainly not spectacular. Have added NAV/DVD, backup camera, bluetooth hands-free, and ipod dock. Factory speakers have held up surprisingly well. Overall an excellent value, solid, dependable and capable.

I recently had the trifecta lights come on. ENGINE light, TRAC OFF light, and VSC TRAC light. Hooked it up to a OBD2 monitor and gave me code P0302 cylinder 2 misfire detected. DTC severity 2 of 3. Repair immediately if drivability issues are present. I’ve changed out the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and ignition coils. A mechanic did a compression test and said the compression was low at 70. Wondering if I should do a top end job or if it can be some other issue. Any suggestions?

I really enjoy driving this vehicle. It drives great, on and off road. I can take it to work or hunting and know that it will get the job done. Overall this is a great, very safe vehicle to drive.
