The engine last forever and the transmission almost same. Body solid like rock.

This car is excellent. it is my first car and I plan on keeping it for a long time. It takes me anywhere I need to go, up steep hills even in rain or snow. I am never snowed in because the 4runner can go anywhere.

Needs more power! TRD Supercharger will be the first upgrade. Works great off road, with factory rear diff. lock and higher than average ground clearance. Of course it is much more fun to drive off-road! Gas mileage is OK for an SUV. Can't beat the build quality - it's built in Japan at the same plant they make the Landcruiser / LX.

Vehicle was powerful before the 90,000 mile service. It drives through deep snow, wet or powder, without any hesitation. Highway riding is comftable with the right tires. I like a dependable vehicle and this Toyota is built well.
