Great car. Had it for five years. Have had two DeVille's since then. Love them all. A friend of mine bought the '96 and still has it.

many problems with wiring in the transmission, check tranny light, coolant, oil, and engine lights constantly coming on, leaked oil, coolant, and brake fluid. wasnt worth the buy, terrible gas milage, slower than should have been, traction control system is possibly the worst design ever you can never fully disable it if you want to have fun

It was pricey to maintain and fill with gas.
