The only car i feel totally comfortable in...looks great drives superb what more could you ask for?
Sep 1, 2009
The Golf MK2 is a popular used car choice – and rightly so – with plenty of good cars still around. Its reliability and build quality have won many fans, while the performance of the GTis has allowed many to get sports car performance for family car prices. As such demand remains high.

Phenomenal car to drive and own. Comfortable and well made, Easy to drive. Not the fastest car but certainly a well rounded car. Fair handling fair acceleration, and nice top speed. Easy to work on and parts are reasonably priced.
Jun 4, 2008
Runs a modified 220hp 2.9 VR6 engine, full respray in original Oak Green with extensive body smoothing. Full leather Recaro interior with Mk3 Golf dash conversion. Fully adjustable coilover suspension with upgraded roll bars and braces. Hand polished Porsche rims, the list goes on....... :-)

I Love this car, it handles well and I love driving it. It is however getting old so parts are starting to wear out.
Im fixing things as I go along and plan to do a full re-furb, inside and out.
The pic is of a 3dr 16v GTi where as mine is a 5dr 8v GTi.
I'd recommend a Golf to anyone who was hesitant about buying one, thet're great fun to drive and very reliable.
