Good ride, straight 6 can take a hard drive, 4wd will take you anywhere you want to go, short wheel base lets you climb steeper hills than a long wheel base truck. Would recommend it to anyone I know (that could afford the gas).

I got this jeep only because i actually found a 5-speed four door with minor rust. I love short wheel based vehicles. The engine has 266.XXX on it and still has good power and even better torque which is most important. These are cheap to work on and easy to wrench on. Everything is pretty straight forward. For a easy axel upgrade i recommend a chrylser 8.25 outback. havent had any problem with mine and i have used this vehicle in extreme abuse. I think that it mostly appeals to younger people who still like to thrash on things.
